Software

1)Run a current version of anti-virus software to check for viruses. 2)Check if the memory modules are properly seated. 3)Try reseating the memory modules one at a time.

4)Sometimes, the problem can result from a bad socket or a broken trace on the mother board. If so, you might have to replace the entire motherboard. 5)For a DIMM module, try a different memory slot. 6)Try uninstalling new hardware (which may be interpretted by the OS as a memory error) 7)Check virtual memory settings 8) Run diagnostics software such as PC Technician(www.windsortech.com) to test memory.

Memory Errors Well, without knowing the exact error, I'll give you four broad things you can check.. Answer 1 1) check your BIOS to make sure that it is updated.

Most will auto-update, but older ones you will need to enter the BIOS, let it auto update, and exit and save. 2) Make sure t hat the chips are seated correctly 3) Make sure that you are using the correct chips for your board 4) Enable boot logging to see if there are any specific errors during the boot process. Remove and install the module. Check that you have the right memory modules supported by your MOBO, verify thru CMOS.

Check that you have installed the right module size, as stated in MOBO documentation. Remove the newly installed memory and check for error, switch memory sockets. Clean the module edge connectors with a soft cloth or contact cleaner, blow or vacuum dust from memory slots. Flash BIOS, BIOS might have problems with the new memory. Dsp manual answers.

And remove the newly installed memory and check whether the error message disappears. Check what memory/type your systems RAM is and insert more once purchased (upto 1GB) 2. Delete unwanted to unused programs or documents so save more memory 3. Defragment your PC/Laptop (will delete unused programs and more folders) 3 Main things.

Hi everyone, I have a HIVION HV 9090X II receiver with a USB port and two card slots. I want to manually enter BISS keys or load them through the USB interface. I have read many post that speak on a hidden menu, but I cannot access it via the instructions given.

However, I have been able to transfer the channel info and software from the receiver onto my USB thumb drive, but the channel info is not ASCII format so I can not edit it. Any help would be appreciated. Below is my menu. My menu structure is as follows. Menu - 1) Installation -----------------> '000' ---> Service organization STB Setting STB Status CAS 2) Antenna Setting Auto Sat Search Manual TP Search Blind Scan Transfer Data --------------> Reset factory Settings USALS Setup 3) Transfer Main S/W Transfer Channel Data USB Transfer --------------> 4) Channels Main S/W HIVION HV 9090X II USB Model: 07E0A126 H/W Ver: 2.16.00 S/W Ver: 1.09.6A Also, when I use the USB feature to download the channel data '_CH_DATA.SGN' it is encrypted. Does this file contain the BISS keys?
