Though Christopher never owned a horse himself, his mother taught him how to respect and cherish these majestic creatures. Fast forward some years and Christopher has found himself living in his new home of Las Vegas, Nevada. He met some wonderful people who helped him find a place within the Imperial Court System, where his volunteerism and charitable heart just grew. His now husband, Jason Dyer, introduced him and his mother to the Nevada Gay Rodeo Association. His mother was happy that there was a place in the western and country lifestyle that would accept her son for being who he was.

Since being introduced to the Gay Rodeo, Christopher has volunteered at every Big Horn Rodeo starting in 2012.
