Scm Xilog 3
May 15, 2013 Its 'standard' Xilog Plus for SCM Tech. Before writing programms, you must open and edit def.tlg file. I think, you old machine will not work with pgm files. You will need convert *.pgm to *.xxl with winxiso.exe (folder Bin). Update: I found only one T99 with Xilog3 in our archive. Try this: Xilog 3 Same procedure, unpack to root, run Xilog3.
Ciao NG Situation: wood miller: RECORD 132 TVN AA17015080 (SCM GROUP) cam 2d: XILOG PLUS 1.11.011 plc: 50005 hardware cnc: 21425500 software cnc: 103,S,J,NUM,1040W Problem: client asks me to engrave a model using.iso file format (usable with.cnc extension). I downloaded “num10xx” post but I’m not able to import post in XILOG PLUS and in Interface Machine User. May be I’m making something wrong and my client can’t help me ( don’t know correct workflow).
Assistance told me that “AlphaCam” has correct post for num1040 cnc. But I have VisualMill: I’m not able to say how NUM1040 works and how to configure post in post processor generator. Perhaps someone here works with this wood miller and can help me.
Thanks in advance. Viktor Havlicek VM Design – Italy ___________________ Laudetur Jesus Christus Posts: 103 Joined: Wed Aug 01, 2007 4:15 pm Location: Camisano, Vicenza, Italy.
Ciao Mitch yes. Your post suggest me that I have not to import my.cnc posted file in Xilog, but open it by machine interface user directly. I have tried but a long error list appeared on wood miller computer video. Example: iso change tool command is: T5. NUM change comand: T=5.
Is it correctly? Have I to insert other command strings? Viktor Havlicek VM Design - Italy _______________________ Laudetur Jesus Christus Posts: 103 Joined: Wed Aug 01, 2007 4:15 pm Location: Camisano, Vicenza, Italy. Well, that stuff will need to be modified in the PostProcessor generator.
I don't know who wrote the stock posts supplied with VM, but I have found a number of them to be incomplete. Hallo Christofer sorry for my absence but I had a lot of internet problems. I hope I will be able to surf internet without handicap. Yes, I'm interesting in your post. I have learnt AlphaCam6 (my client has alphacam 5 standard router) and we have egraved ornament on wood table.
I tought him alphacam5 but. Now he asked me to make two wall-watch (is it correct?) and I want use VisualMill. I have no experience to make post processor for scm controller and testing it. Thanks and sorry again for my silence. Hi, I am in the process of 'inheriting' a SCM tech machining center for wood. The previous owner is quite set in his ways and only knows one method for each thing he does with the machine. Basically, we either write programs from scratch using xilog plus, or create text/vector stuff in autocad, save as R12 DXF, open in Xilog, save as PGM and then open at the machine.
Shankar mahadevan ganesh vandana ekdantay vakratunday song. This works well enough, except when making more complex things, as described in this post: My question is whether it is true that the machine will only understand PGM files created by xilog, or if there are any alternatives that you guys might recommend to simplify processes and/or get the most out of the machine. I now need to get it to cut out a pig shape (attached), and it is proving near impossible!
Thanks a lot for any help:-) Attached • (35.1 KB, 105 views) •. Try this.dxf Here's what I did: Open in AutoCAD.
Select and EXPLODE Use a spline to pline lisp to covert splines to polylines. Use PEDIT to close the polylines. It should work for you. I use a Morbidelli, which also uses Xilog and.pgm files. However, we create all our code in AlphaCAM, and I only use Xilog for editing g-code. With our Morbidelli, the.pgm files are binary, and can't be created without a special post for AlphaCAM.
