Featherweight 221/221K/222K Serial Numbers & Other Singer Machines I have tried to make it easier for you to find out the year your Featherweight was made by going through the serial number records published by Singer and pulling out all of the Featherweight data and createed the list below of just Featherweight data. The list starts with the USA made 221, then the UK made 221K, and finally the UK made 222K. For a complete production record in.pdf file format of all available Singer machines by the serial number prefix, please look towards the bottom LEFT side of this webpage for the prefix file you need, then click on the tab to download the file. There may be cases where your serial number does not fall within a Featherweight production range and may be listed under a different model number machine, such as a Model 15. This does not make the machine 'rare' but is simply an error by Singer when they prepared the historical serial number lists or the data was simply recorded in error at the time of production.
